Il Fontanaro is more than an estate: it is the story of a family deeply connected to the land.
Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and rolling hills, our organic estate spans over 40 acres in the green heart of Italy, on the timeless border between Umbria and Tuscany.
Here, nature sets the rhythm of everyday life. Ancient olive trees, quiet countryside roads, golden sunsets, and the changing seasons create an atmosphere of peace, authenticity, and understated beauty.
For generations, our family has preserved the authentic spirit of Umbrian countryside living, welcoming guests from all over the world with warmth, simplicity, and genuine Italian hospitality.
Today, we personally manage five exclusive villas, an award-winning organic olive oil production, and one of the highest rated cooking schools in Italy, while continuing to care for the land that has been part of our family history for decades.
